Video mapping installation created by Thomas Voillaume (France) during a 3-week creation residency at Arenberg Creative Mine in February 2018.
am-i
am-i is a gigantic sculpture with video mapping screened on it. It represents a humanoid-being which took shape in the city centre of Lille, at the Ilôt Comtesse. Hallucination or supernatural phenomenon? Overhanging the audience, this apparition unveils its emotions and tries to stay in the reality.
The video projection plays with the shape of the structure and reveals some fragments of its history.
