Kulturatrium video mapping production between artists from the partner regions of Hauts-de-France, North Rhine-Westphalia and Silesia
As part of Kulturatrium, a cooperation project between the partner regions of Hauts-de-France (France), Land of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and Silesia Voivodeship (Poland), we are looking for candidates coming from those 3 territories.
2 artists from each region will be selected, in order to form a team of 6 people who will produce together a video mapping on an object previously chosen by the organizers. The creation will be screened in the 3 partners’ territories. The premiere will take place as part of the Video Mapping Festival on 17th and 18th of May 2019 (Bruay-La-Buissière, France)
Writing residency (mandatory presence): from 27th of March to 6th April 2019
Remote production: from 6th April to 16th of May 2019
Requirements:
The artists must be coming from the Regions of Hauts-de-France (France), Land of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and Silesia Voivodeship (Poland) and must be “emerging artists” (graduated for less than 7 years).
The artists must master the English language, which will be the working language.
The mastery of video mapping is not necessary. Artists will be supported during the residency and the production.
Conditions:
. A creation grant of 2250€ including all taxes.
. Transport, accommodation and meals will be taken care of during the residency and the screening.
