► R.’S DREAM.
Since 2019, a new presence has occupied the square in front of Lille Flandres Train Station. A sculpture that raises questions: Romy?
This confrontation between the station building and the bust created by the artist Xavier Veilhan is the starting point of this mapping piece. A figure that is both physical and almost virtual, with its yellow tint and 3D printed appearance, R.’s dream offers to double this eternal icon of the cinema through a free interpretation of the half-angel, half-demon character she embodies in Orson Welles’ film The Trial.
The soundtrack of the mapping is also a sound extract from the film The Trial..

Direction and visual design: Romain Tardy (France)
Original music: Jean Ledrut (1962), extract from the record The original Filmscores – Le Procès (remastered 2016), Jube Legends

With the support of the Hauts-de-France Region, the Drac Hauts-de-France, the Métropole Européenne de Lille, the City of Lille and the Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe.
