At launch, they cobbled together a programme of home-grown talents, each artist growing skills to explore an entirely new medium. Not only was art locally sourced but also the production team. As LUMA\u2019s reputation grew, it began to attract world-class talents. But core to its mission and appeal was balancing local participation with international prestige.
