In May 2014, les Rencontres Audiovisuelles offered video mapping training for students or professionals in animation or graphic arts, in the form of a workshop led by Ludovic Burczykowski, an artist specialising in video mapping, doctoral student in art sciences and teacher of digital creation at UVCH – University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis.
After an introduction to theory, the participants had around ten days to prepare a mapping piece to be shown in public at L’hybride.

Introduction to mapping: getting to grips with mapping software, writing, formalising projects, creation of production teams.
From Wednesday 30 April to Wednesday 7 May
Production of images.
From Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 May
Finalisation of the project, assembly of the images and formatting for mapping.
Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May
