Video mapping piece created during the training workshop given at L’hybride during the Easter holiday of 2015.
Rencontres Audiovisuelles offered mapping training for students or professionals in animation or graphic arts, in the form of a workshop led by Ludovic Burczykowski, an artist specialising in video mapping, art sciences doctoral student and teacher of digital creation at UVCH – University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis.
After an introduction to theory, the participants had around ten days to put a piece together taking inspiration from the zoology and geology collections of the Lille Natural History Museum.
The course culminated in a public performance at L’hybride on Saturday, May 16, 2015, as part of the Nuit des Musées.
