Pieces is an audiovisual performance, an encounter between musician Squeaky Lobster (Vlek, Belgium) and visual artist Romain Tardy. Unfolding in an installation that combines augmented luminous structures and furniture, they attempt to question in an original way how music is shown (and even make it tangible) by breaking with the conventional staging of concerts or Vjing. Evoking a room frozen in time after what appears to have been a tumultuous event, the performance area, projected virtually and endlessly malleable, is by turns chaotic then perfectly ordered over the course of various scenes in a continuously invented story.
