At the end of a twenty-day residency and drawing on several years of work on the mutation of the body and its relation to the environment, the collective 1minute69 invites spectators to rediscover the space of L’hybride in an interactive installation that’s part research lab and part cabinet of curiosities.
Transformed into an experiential environment in which the spectator themselves becomes the subject of hybridisation, the installation space allows the audience to enter a random and undiscovered space and time with laser pointer in hand, to be perceived both individually and collectively.
The 1minute69 MadLab is an original scenography that mixes materials, light and sounds in a combination of random recycled-object sculptures, audiovisual creation, generative images and tracking and video mapping techniques. More than just a technological tool, the laser pointer – the common thread of the Digital Stories project – is used here as an extension of the spectator’s body.

1minute69 is a variable-geometry collective, born of a desire for collaboration and exchange between lovers of the digital arts. Linked by a playful desire to plunge the viewer into immersive and/or interactive worlds that stimulate the imagination, the collective’s artists play on illusion and work with the concept of representation through performances, audiovisual installations, architectural projections and video scenography.
Paving the way for new artistic practices, the application of digital technologies to sensory devices forms an integral part of their research dynamic, in which space, body, sound and image are inextricably linked.
