A tribute to the famous scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind with this mapping in the form of a questions/answers session with the public.
Rerun of the video mapping created by Design Lab (Tunisia) as part of the Video Mapping Festival 2019 creation residency.

When 2 entities meet, a relationship is immediately established. This precise moment of the first contact is exciting, it is the expression of the field of possibilities: war as love, passion as indifference.
The meeting pushes us to define ourselves in front of the other. Who are we? What really matters for us? What should you show of yourself? How to react? What happens when this meeting brings together 2 intelligent entities without any common ground? No language, no history, no physiognomy, no perception of the world or logic.
This creation aims to capture this brief moment, and to tell this close encounter of the third kind…
